how monitor care works
- The patient can make an attendance request by using either; a bed handset, a call button or a bathroom pull cord. The control desk will be alerted to the attendance request and the corresponding room number.
- At the same time the door indication hall light will switch on, showing that there is an attendance request in that particular room.
- On the computer screen at the desk control, each alarm is shown in a panel with information of the source room, continuously indicating the status of the alarm in real time (waiting, presence or cancelled).
- Optionally, the system sends a notification to pagers, which allow to the nurses receive the alarm message in any room of the hospital or care home.
- When the caretaker attends the request, they can indicate presence or cancel the alarm from push buttons located in the room, changing the status of the alarm that is synchronised with the desk control computer and door indicator lights.
- It is possible to cancel the alarm from the room by means of the push buttons or remotely from the computer at the nurse desk.
- All events and alarm status changes are registered with detailed information including the date and hour of each event.
